CUBIERTO DE AMAPOLAS

TE ENCONTRE CAMPESINO

DE PIEL MORENA

　

TUS OJOS VERDE HOJA

TUS LABIOS AL ROJO VIVO

YA NO PUEDO OLVIDARTE

AÚN TE LLEVO CONMIGO

　

ESAS TIERRAS CALIENTES

QUE TIENE ANDALUCIA

SON MARES DE SECANOS

DE BELLO ATARDESER

　

¡CAMPESINOS DE ESPAÑA!

¡VUELVETE A TUS TIERRAS!

QUE CON MANOS ABIERTAS

TE ESPERA EL OLIVAR

　

YA LLEGAN LAS CIGUEÑAS

TAMBIEN LAS GOLONDRINAS

Sancti Petri o Piedra Santa

Era el templo que en la antiguedad se levantaba en el islote que ahora se llama Santi Petri, el santuari era un conjunto de edificaciones con uno principal con un patio, con dos columnas al que se acedia por una puerta principal, donde aparecian los doce trabajos de Hercules en el frontispicio, labrados en bronce con escenas de la vida de Hercules, no habia ninguna imagen de dios en el recinto asi que daba a entender que los sacrificios humanos estaban prohibidos, en su altar ardia el fuego perpetuo, habia tambien pozos de agua dulce que crecian inverso a las crecidas del mar. Cuidado por la incensante custodia de los sacerdotes, segun Estrabon en las columnas de la entrada los navegantes hacian sus sacrificios.

Durante la epoca romana persistio de su maximo esplendor el templo, durante la epoca del emperador Trajano, que nacio en Santiponce las Italicas de Sevilla
